CHRISTMAS IN NARROWS BRANCH
Folks living in the Southern Appalachian Mts. were often isolated and mothers and fathers knew that making do with materials on hand was the key to making Christmas gifts for their children.....

These sweet playthings are my personal renderings of what a child living in Narrows Branch may have found waiting for them on Christmas morning...........

Using scraps from two early Kentucky linsey quilts these three dolls are all hand stitched. They are approx. 8-10" tall and will each come with their own doll quilt ( 8x12) Please specify which doll would like....I will make her quilt to fit her size. Doll and quilt $58.00+ shipping

"Old Tug" ( proudly named after the Tug River in Eastern Kentucky), is made from some old quilt pieces and his saddle is a tattered piece of linsey. He is 9" long...$42.00+shipping
